Manager From Hell!
We are not that manager! Of course, not! How can we be that horrible? Right?
No one wants to be that horrible person. No one thinks of themselves as that too, but how do we have so many stories about the managers from hell? Horrible people who make it their mission to make peoples’ lives miserable.
Why do they do it?
Before we talk about how we deal with such a manager, let’s first understand why would they behave in such a way.
There are many reasons why a manager might behave this way. Most of the time, they don’t even realize it themselves. Some of the common reasons are:
- Incompetence: They could just be ill-qualified for their jobs and lack the necessary skills, knowledge, or experience to be effective leaders.
- Inadequate leadership skills: Some individuals may be promoted to management positions without having the necessary leadership and interpersonal skills. In such cases, they may struggle to handle the responsibilities and pressure that come with the role, which can lead to frustration and poor management practices.
