Chapter 1: The Call for Help
Angela sat in her car, gripping the steering wheel tightly as she stared at the small office building in front of her. Her heart pounded with anxiety and doubt. It had been ten years since she first became a teacher, a career she had chosen out of pure passion for working with children and a love for learning. But now, she found herself feeling trapped and unfulfilled.
The first few years had been phenomenal. She had loved every moment spent in the classroom, watching her students grow and learn. But over time, the job had become repetitive, and a significant part of her work involved mundane administrative tasks. Angela felt overwhelmed and disillusioned, unable to see a way out of her predicament.
To make matters worse, a new principal had taken over the school, implementing changes that seemed illogical and disruptive. Many of Angela’s colleagues had left, unable to cope with the new environment. Angela, too, felt the urge to leave but didn’t know where else to turn.
